EVOKE Contemporary is a fresh, airy contemporary space in an historic 1800’s building on Lincoln Avenue. EVOKE Contemporary is an exciting new addition to the grand collection of galleries in the downtown district. High ceilings, hip music and fresh exciting new artists are making waves in the up and coming district. With the opening of the edgy new wing of the Museum of New Mexico History and two other new art venues including Skotia Gallery, Lincoln Avenue has much to offer Santa Feans, visitors and art collectors. As one of the founding members of GALA| Galleries at Lincoln Avenue, EVOKE Contemporary brings an exciting vibe to the entire street with a schedule of great art exhibitions introducing new international artists to the scene. The focus of the gallery is contemporary fine art ranging from conceptual installations to abstract expressionism to super realism to the innovative new frontier of blown and sculpted glass. Life long gallerist, Kathrine Erickson brings 27 years of visual and performance art exhibition experience to the creation of EVOKE Contemporary. Elan Varshay, renowned jewelry designer of 30 years is the other half of the collaboration that brought EVOKE Contemporary to fruition.
